Network International Partners with MTN Group Fintech

Network International (Network), a leading enabler of digital commerce across the Middle East and Africa (MEA), has been appointed as a Payment Processor – Issuing partner for MTN Group Fintech, Africa’s foremost mobile financial services provider.

This partnership marks a significant step in Network’s expansion of issuer processing collaborations across the African continent.

With operations spanning over 50 countries and a client base of more than 250 financial institutions, Network International will leverage its expertise to enhance MTN Fintech’s innovative mobile services.

The collaboration aims to provide seamless and secure digital financial solutions to customers and stakeholders across Africa.

The partnership will focus on rolling out card issuance products in key MTN Fintech markets, starting with Rwanda, which is already operational. Expansion efforts will soon extend to Uganda, Ivory Coast, and Nigeria.

Network International will offer a comprehensive suite of services, including transaction processing, card management, and online fraud prevention, ensuring a seamless and secure financial experience for MTN Fintech users.

MTN Group currently provides voice, data, fintech, enterprise wholesale, and API services to over 288 million customers across 14 African markets. This latest partnership with Network International is expected to accelerate digital payment adoption, further solidifying MTN Fintech’s position as a leader in the financial services sector.
