FNB backs women’s leadership summit focused on AI

First National Bank (FNB) has joined the eighth annual BIO Women’s Summit & Power Women Awards as headline sponsor, supporting an event focused on women’s leadership, entrepreneurship and opportunities in the artificial intelligence economy.

Organised by Bloom Inside Out, the summit takes place on 30 October 2026 under the theme “She Leads the Future: Women, Wisdom & Influence in the Age of AI”. It will bring together women from business, corporate leadership and community organisations.

Preparing women for a changing economy

The programme will examine how women can adapt their businesses and careers to technological change while strengthening their leadership and influence.

Four themes will guide discussions: “She Thinks”, “She Leads”, “She Builds” and “She Shapes”. These cover AI and critical thinking, purposeful leadership, business innovation and the opportunities women create for others through their work.

Alongside technology, organisers will emphasise human qualities such as creativity, empathy and sound judgement.

Corporate support for women entrepreneurs

According to the organisers, FNB’s sponsorship will support knowledge-sharing and connections between women across sectors, including entrepreneurs starting, formalising or expanding their businesses.

Bidvest Silveray has also joined as silver sponsor, adding corporate support to the event’s focus on women’s economic participation.

Recognising leadership and community impact

The accompanying Power Woman Awards will recognise contributions to business, industry and communities. The event will combine these celebrations with networking and conversations about business development.

Scheduled ahead of Women’s Entrepreneurship Day on 19 November, the summit aims to help participants reflect on their progress and prepare for the coming year.

Event details

The summit will take place at FNB Acacia House in Umhlanga, KwaZulu-Natal. Tickets are available through Bloom Inside Out and Quicket.
