Samsung Electronics has officially unveiled the new Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition, marking the company’s first Galaxy Book laptop specifically designed for enterprise and corporate environments as businesses increasingly adopt AI-driven workflows and connected productivity ecosystems.
The launch signals Samsung’s growing ambitions in the enterprise computing market, with the company positioning the device as a secure, AI-powered productivity solution for modern workplaces.
Samsung Targets Enterprise IT Environments
Powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors with Intel vPro technology, the Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition combines enterprise-grade performance, advanced security, and centralized device management features tailored for businesses and IT departments.
According to Samsung, the new device is designed to simplify deployment and configuration across large organizations through features such as custom OS imaging, BIOS customization, Windows Autopilot integration, and asset tagging.
Andrew Chun, Corporate Vice President and Head of B2B NPC Group at Samsung Electronics’ Mobile Experience Business, described the launch as a major step for the Galaxy Book lineup.
“Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition marks an important step in expanding the Galaxy Book series into enterprise computing,” said Chun.
He added that the company aims to bring Samsung’s connected Galaxy ecosystem into enterprise IT environments to help businesses create seamless workflows across multiple devices.
AI Features Become Central To Workplace Productivity
Samsung is also heavily emphasizing artificial intelligence capabilities in the new enterprise-focused laptop range.
The Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition features an NPU capable of up to 49 TOPS, enabling advanced AI processing and multitasking performance for demanding workloads.
Integrated Galaxy AI features include:
- AI Select for contextual recognition and quick translations
- Note Assist for meeting summaries and collaboration
- Intelligent Search for natural-language file discovery
- AI Cut Out for image editing and content preparation
Samsung says the AI-powered ecosystem extends across Galaxy devices through connected features such as Quick Share, Multi Control, Second Screen, Storage Share, and Link to Windows integration.
Security Positioned As A Core Selling Point
Security remains one of the device’s key differentiators as businesses face growing cybersecurity threats.
Samsung confirmed that the Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition includes hardware-level protection systems, biometric authentication through fingerprint scanning and IR facial recognition, as well as a discrete Trusted Platform Module (dTPM) for enhanced encryption and credential protection.
The company also highlighted that the device aligns with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) platform security requirements while integrating Samsung Knox security protections to safeguard enterprise data and device integrity.
Slim Design Meets Business Functionality
Available in both 14-inch and 16-inch models, the Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition features a slim 14.9mm chassis and comes in a Mocha Gray finish aimed at professional users.
The devices offer up to 24 hours of video playback battery life and support fast charging capabilities that can restore approximately one-third of battery life within 30 minutes.
Samsung says the laptops are designed to support a range of work styles, from highly mobile professionals to office-based enterprise teams.
Enterprise AI Competition Intensifies
The launch comes as major technology companies race to integrate AI-powered features into enterprise hardware and productivity ecosystems.
