Snapchat is introducing Spotlight to shine a light on the most entertaining Snaps created by its community. By submitting your best video Snaps onto Spotlight you stand the opportunity to earn a share of more than $1 million that is distributed to creators every day! Alternatively, you could just lean back, watch and pick some of your favorite videos.
For the opportunity to earn money, the Snaps you submit to Spotlight must follow the content guidelines and Terms. You must be 16 or older to earn.
Snapchat has designed Spotlight to entertain its community while living up to its core values, of putting its community’s wellbeing as a top priority. Spotlight content is moderated and doesn’t allow for public comments.
There is no set date as to when Spotlight will be available on the African continent yet. However, the rollout is set to start in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and France, with more countries coming soon.
