Samsung Electronics Unveils Galaxy Buds4 Series

Samsung Electronics has officially introduced the Galaxy Buds4 Pro and Galaxy Buds4, redefining what premium wireless earbuds can deliver in both superior hi-fi sound and everyday wearability. Designed to sound as good as they feel, the new Galaxy Buds4 series combines advanced hardware innovations, AI-powered intelligence and a refined ergonomic fit to deliver Samsung’s most immersive listening experience yet.

The new earbuds will launch alongside the Galaxy S26 series, with pre-orders opening in select markets starting today and general availability beginning March 11.

Computational Design Meets All-Day Comfort

With the Buds4 series, Samsung introduces an iconic new “blade” design identity, developed through computational modelling based on hundreds of millions of global ear data points and more than 10,000 simulations.

The result is a sleeker, more ergonomic fit with smaller, better-fitting earbud heads engineered for enhanced stability and all-day comfort. The stabilised blade features a premium metal finish and an engraved pinch control area, allowing users to easily locate and adjust settings by touch.

The transparent clamshell-style charging case adds both convenience and a modern aesthetic, showcasing the refined blade design while making storage and charging more intuitive.

The Galaxy Buds4 Pro adopts a canal-fit design for immersive sound and maximum functionality, while the Galaxy Buds4 features an open-fit design for a lighter, more user-friendly listening experience. Both models are available in Black and White with a matte finish, while the Buds4 Pro also comes in an online-exclusive Pink Gold option.

Wider Woofer, Richer Sound

At the heart of the Galaxy Buds4 Pro is a newly engineered wider woofer that increases the effective speaker area by nearly 20% compared to the previous generation — without compromising wearability.

Combined with a tweeter in a two-way speaker system, the Buds4 Pro supports 24-bit/96kHz audio, delivering high-fidelity sound true to the original recording. From the sharp resonance of violins to the deep tones of double basses, the updated hardware captures detail that was difficult to reproduce in earlier models.

The two-way speaker is strategically positioned on the upper side of the metal finish to maximise Active Noise Cancellation performance while minimising wind feedback and external interference.

Smarter Adaptive ANC and EQ

Building on previous generations, the Galaxy Buds4 series enhances its Adaptive ANC and EQ capabilities to intelligently respond to real-world environments.

Whether commuting on a bus, train or airplane, the improved Active Noise Cancellation reduces low-frequency engine and road noise while maintaining rich, balanced audio. Enhanced Adaptive ANC and EQ analyse individual wearing conditions and unique ear shapes, applying optimal noise-cancelling algorithms in real time for a personalised listening experience.

For calls, Super Clear Call technology uses super wideband audio and machine learning models trained for noise reduction and voice enhancement, doubling the bandwidth of conventional Bluetooth calls. The result is ultra-clear call quality, even in noisy environments such as restaurants, playgrounds or sporting events.

The Buds4 Pro also introduces voice and siren detection, automatically boosting ambient sound during conversations or alerting users to important environmental cues like emergency vehicles.

AI-Powered Ecosystem Integration

For Galaxy users, the Buds4 series deepens integration within Samsung’s ecosystem. Users can initiate AI agents — including Bixby, Google Gemini and Perplexity — via hands-free voice commands, allowing seamless interaction without reaching for their smartphones.

The Buds4 Pro further enhances hands-free functionality with Head Gesture controls, enabling users to manage calls and interact with AI assistants through simple movements.

Setup is streamlined for Galaxy device owners: simply opening the charging case allows instant pairing without installing the Galaxy Wearable app. Volume, EQ and other settings can be customised directly through the Quick Panel or shortcut menu.

Battery Life and Performance

The Galaxy Buds4 Pro features 61mAh earbuds paired with a 530mAh charging case, offering:

  • Up to 6 hours of music playback with ANC on (up to 7 hours with ANC off)

  • Up to 26 hours total playback with ANC on (up to 30 hours with ANC off)

  • Up to 4.5 hours of talk time with ANC on

The Galaxy Buds4 offers:

  • Up to 5 hours of music playback with ANC on (up to 6 hours with ANC off)

  • Up to 24 hours total playback with ANC on (up to 30 hours with ANC off)

  • Up to 3.5 hours of talk time with ANC on

Both models support Bluetooth® 6.1, Auto Switch, Samsung Seamless Codec (SSC) HiFi and UHQ, AAC, SBC, LC3 and Auracast connectivity. The Buds4 Pro carries an IP57 water resistance rating (earbuds only), while the Buds4 is rated IP54.

A New Standard for Premium Earbuds

“Samsung understands that a truly premium audio experience combines technical sound quality with how that sound feels throughout a user’s day,”

said Ikhyun Cho, Corporate VP of Mobile Enhancement R&D Team, MX Business at Samsung Electronics.

“With the Galaxy Buds4 series, our design philosophy was uncompromising, providing all-day comfort without sacrificing audio performance. We engineered our most powerful hi-fi audio and our most secure, ergonomic fit to enhance one another, delivering the best listening experience we’ve ever created.”

With enhanced hardware, AI-driven intelligence and a computationally designed ergonomic fit, the Galaxy Buds4 series signals Samsung’s continued push to merge cutting-edge sound engineering with everyday practicality — raising the bar for premium wireless audio in 2026.
