Uber, the global mobility and delivery giant, has been announced as the official rideshare and on-demand delivery partner of the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as Team USA. This milestone partnership signals a major step toward delivering seamless, tech-driven transportation and delivery solutions during one of the world’s most anticipated sporting spectacles.
As Los Angeles prepares to welcome the world for the Summer Games, Uber will lead efforts to streamline mobility across the sprawling city, providing riders with optimized routes, dedicated pickup and drop-off points, and multi-modal options including cars, bikes, and scooters. The company’s advanced technology and operational expertise will support LA28’s ambition to deliver a transit-first Olympic experience.
“Mobility is at the heart of what makes the Olympic and Paralympic Games extraordinary, connecting athletes to venues, fans to experiences, and our global community across LA,”
said LA28 Chairperson and President Casey Wasserman.
“Uber’s commitment to innovation and seamless service aligns with our vision to deliver an unparalleled Games experience.”
In addition to mobility services, Uber Eats will power the Olympic and Paralympic Village’s on-demand food delivery program, ensuring athletes have convenient access to meals throughout their stay. Select LA28 venues will also feature Uber Eats mobile ordering to elevate the spectator experience with streamlined food and beverage access.
“We’re honored to partner with LA28 and Team USA,”
said Dara Khosrowshahi, CEO of Uber.
“The drivers, couriers, and merchants who will show up for visitors and locals are the backbone who make the partnership come together. The Olympic and Paralympic Games are a true celebration of the human spirit, and we’re incredibly proud to be LA28’s trusted partner.”
Uber will also extend its presence to NBCUniversal’s comprehensive coverage of both the LA28 Games and the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The partnership will include storytelling collaborations that bring fans closer to athletes and the action through immersive content experiences.
“With its leadership in tech and innovation, Uber embodies the spirit of the Olympics, making them the perfect partner for the upcoming Games,”
said Mark Marshall, Chairman, Global Advertising and Partnerships at NBCUniversal.
From transporting athletes and fans to bringing meals directly to Olympic Village doors, Uber’s multi-faceted involvement will play a key role in delivering an unforgettable and connected Games experience — both in Los Angeles and around the world.
