Louise Steenekamp Named AFSUG Board Vice-Chair

Effective February 15, 2024, the African SAP User Group (AFSUG) Board celebrates the appointment of Louise Steenekamp as its new Vice-Chair. Louise has been an integral part of the AFSUG Board since January 2020. She brings over twenty years of rich experience in the SAP field. Her expertise covers implementation, support, service management, and sales.

Louise’s knowledge of the SAP landscape is deep and respected. She is known for her strategic leadership and her commitment to innovation. Holding a Master of Science in International Management, she shows her dedication to excellence in technology and business management.

In her current role at Aspen, Louise plays a vital part in the Global Digital Technology Enablement function. Her work at Aspen demonstrates her skills in driving innovation and fostering teamwork. She excels at achieving results in complex corporate settings.

Duke Mathebula, Chairman of AFSUG, shared his excitement about Louise’s new role. He said,

“This marks a great moment for AFSUG as we enter a new era of growth and change. Louise will join the board’s central leadership team. She will also represent AFSUG globally as an executive member of the SAP User Group Executive Network (SUGEN).”

Louise expressed her enthusiasm about her new position.
