RASA World attracts $9.5 million for its tech-driven concert business

Los Angeles-based events startup RASA World has attracted approximately $9.5 million from investors, including Bullpen Capital and Haystack Ventures, as it builds a business combining electronic music experiences with technology.

Business Insider reported the investment on 2 October, highlighting investor interest in live gatherings as people spend more of their lives online. RASA has invested in engineers and data specialists to connect ticketing, attendance and social engagement information, helping it understand audiences and encourage repeat visits.

Founded in 2023, RASA describes its business as creating the technology and production infrastructure behind live experiences. Its events include Pier Play at the Santa Monica Pier and Thrill City at Six Flags, with activations across cities including Los Angeles, Miami, New York, London and Dubai.

The company says its proprietary operating system uses real-time insights and automation to turn individual event visits into ongoing audience relationships. This approach places community development alongside music and production as a central part of its business model.

RASA is also expanding its festival concepts into new locations. According to company updates, Pier Play made its San Francisco debut at Pier 70 on 19 September, which RASA described as the event brand’s fifth consecutive sellout.

Its activities extend into corporate events through Atelier by RASA, which gives brands access to its venues, creative teams and technology. The company lists work involving Google Visitor Experience, Delta Air Lines and other brands, broadening its offering beyond ticketed music festivals.

Together, these activities illustrate RASA’s commercial proposition: using a shared technology and production operation to support festivals, audience communities and branded experiences.
