Apple has introduced its 2026 Pride Collection, unveiling a new Apple Watch Pride Edition Sport Loop, matching watch face, and iPhone and iPad wallpapers in celebration of LGBTQ+ communities around the world. The new collection arrives ahead of Pride Month and continues the company’s annual tradition of pairing design-led product drops with visible support for queer communities globally.
A Bold New Design Celebrating Identity and Individuality
At the heart of the new release is the Pride Edition Sport Loop, a vibrant Apple Watch band woven from 11 rainbow-coloured nylon yarns. Apple says the intricate weaving technique creates a flowing spectrum of colour, blending each hue into the next to create movement and depth across the band. The final design is both playful and expressive, reflecting what Apple describes as the “unique identities that shape LGBTQ+ communities worldwide.”
The design continues with the new Pride Luminance watch face, which brings the same spirit of motion and individuality to the Apple Watch display. The face is built around two geometric styles: a radial design, where rays of colour align with the watch’s hour markers, and a vertical design inspired by the woven linear stripes of the band itself. Users can also personalise the watch face with additional colour options, allowing for a more customised expression of identity and community.
Matching Wallpapers Extend the Experience Across Devices
Apple is also extending the Pride aesthetic to its wider device ecosystem with matching iPhone and iPad wallpapers. Designed to complement the watch face and band, the wallpapers feature the same bright, dynamic visual language and can also be customised with different colour variations. The result is a cohesive Pride-themed experience across Apple devices, built around movement, colour, and personal expression.
Pride Collection Continues Apple’s LGBTQ+ Support
Beyond the product release, Apple says it remains committed to supporting LGBTQ+ communities through financial contributions to organisations serving queer people around the world. The company has long tied its annual Pride Collection launches to broader visibility and advocacy efforts, positioning the release as both a design statement and a show of solidarity.
Pricing and Availability
The Pride Edition Sport Loop is available to order now through Apple’s online store and the Apple Store app, with retail availability expected later this week. The band is priced at $49 in the United States and will also be available through authorised Apple resellers. It launches in 40mm, 42mm, and 46mm sizes.
