This prestigious recognition reaffirms Optimizely’s ability to execute and completeness of vision in the industry.
In the 2023 Magic Quadrant for DXP, Gartner evaluated 16 DXP providers and positioned them as a Leader, Challenger, Visionary, or Niche Player in the market. Optimizely was positioned as a Leader, essentially 2nd in the Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms.

Bluegrass Digital CEO Nick Durrant says DXP is most often used at midsize-to-large enterprises in retail, manufacturing and distribution, high-tech, healthcare, commercial services, and financial services.
“It is most often used for B2C and B2B use cases. The platform is available on a subscription basis as a hybrid cloud solution, employing some SaaS components with management UIs, orchestrated around a single-tenant PaaS.”
While Optimizely continues to expand its capabilities and offerings, there are still areas for improvement. Rationalization and integration of multiple technologies acquired by Optimizely are still lacking a unified UI, while cross-product functionality between acquired and organic products remains nascent. Furthermore, Optimizely’s lack of unified analytics reporting across the platform makes the discovery of actionable insights disjointed.
