Samsung Launches Galaxy A07 5G With AI Features

Samsung Electronics has unveiled the new Galaxy A07 5G, a smartphone designed to bring artificial intelligence tools and upgraded performance to a broader audience as part of the company’s push to make AI experiences more accessible.

The device introduces popular AI capabilities powered in partnership with Google, including Gemini and Circle to Search, enabling users to interact with their phones in faster and more intuitive ways. With a press of the side button, Gemini can help navigate tasks across native Galaxy apps and select third-party platforms, while Gemini Live allows real-time questions and contextual insights. Circle to Search lets users quickly learn more about on-screen content such as images, text, or music.

Focus on Everyday Performance

Beyond AI integration, the Galaxy A07 5G features several hardware upgrades aimed at daily usability:

  • Larger battery: A 6,000mAh battery — significantly bigger than the previous generation — supports extended connectivity and longer video playback.

  • Enhanced display: A 6.7-inch edge-to-edge screen with a 120Hz refresh rate offers smoother visuals, while High Brightness Mode improves outdoor visibility.

  • Durability upgrades: IP54 dust and water resistance and a reinforced back panel are intended to improve resilience during everyday use.

Camera and Security Improvements

The phone includes a 50MP main rear camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, along with an 8MP front camera for clearer selfies and video calls. Samsung also promises up to six generations of operating system updates and six years of security support.

Additional security features, including Samsung Knox Vault, Theft Protection, and Auto Blocker, aim to strengthen device protection while maintaining user control and transparency.

Availability

Samsung says the Galaxy A07 5G will roll out in select markets starting 30 January, offered in Black, Light Violet, and Light Green colour options.
