Damilola Olokesusi is the co-founder and CEO of Shuttlers

Meet the amazing African female entrepreneur Damilola Olokesusi who is the co-founder and CEO of one of Nigeria’s leading transport-driven transportation startup, Shuttlers.

It is a Nigerian mobility company that’s tackling the transportation challenges in metropolitan cities, leveraging technology. Shuttlers mission is to transform the way people commute around the world, by building a global partner network and connecting communities of Shuttlers like they are presently doing in Lagos, Nigeria.

Damilola is a “Forbes30under30 (2019) Recipient for Technology”, and was selected by the UK government for a technology exchange in 2020.

It’s a new era for Shuttlers as the company recently raised a $1.6m seed funding. This raise which was led by VestedWorld, with Interswitch, Rising Tide, Launch Africa, EchoVC, CMC 21 & Alsa, ShEquity, Five35, Consonance, CcHub Syndicate, Sakore, and Nikky Taurus also participating, is a major achievement not just for Shuttlers, but for the mobility industry in Africa.

One of the more exciting parts of this round is that up to 50% of the investment was led by female investors and LPs.
