Netflix and GOBELINS are currently offering six scholarships for students from the African continent for the September 2021 intakes. The scholarships will benefit six students who will successfully be admitted into GOBELINS’. Netflix and GOBELINS will cover the tuition fees for the entire length of the programme.
These scholarships will be awarded to 3 undergraduate students to enrol in a 3 years BA and another set of scholarships will be awarded to 3 graduate students to enrol in a 2 years MA. Successful candidates, in both programmes, will know of their scholarships selection results in June 2021 when the announcement is made. The academic year is will start in September 2021.
- Bachelor of Arts in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking:
GOBELINS now offers a new 3-year course to encourage the direct entry of young French and English-speaking undergraduates. It provides direct access to the labour market or the pursuit of studies in the Master of Arts in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking. The purpose of this course is to enable students to master all traditional and digital animation techniques (2D and 3D) from pre-production to post-production, using professional methods from animation film studios in France and abroad. Teamwork also plays a major role in the implemented pedagogy. - Master of Arts in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking:
This 2-year course taught in English is designed for unable students to reach a professional level notably in directing and storytelling in a multicultural environment. In addition to exercises in writing, storyboarding and complex animation (mixed techniques, interacting characters), students participate in an open-themed end of studies film in conditions similar to a professional environment.
