Standard Chartered Women In Tech Incubator Cohort 4 Seed funding winners announced

The fourth cohort of #SCWomenInTech has been completed! The Women In Tech incubation program is a collaboration between @iBizAfrica and Standard Chartered Kenya, with the theme “Accelerating the digital economy through women-owned businesses.”

The Cohort received over 100 applications from businesses that use emerging technologies, from which ten were chosen. The ten startups received a 12-month training program, as well as individualized mentorship and coaching.

The startups went through a rigorous judging process on May 18th, 2021, to select the top five startups who got to walk away with $10,000 each.

The $10, 000 worth of grant will enable the startups to scale up their businesses.

The winners are; Ecila Films, The ManDevu BeardCare, Runnovate, Hali Halisi, and Fastagger.

The Standard Chartered Women in Technology Incubator Kenya is Africa’s leading women in tech incubator, aligning with calls for more diversity in technology and for more opportunities for women to develop entrepreneurial and leadership excellence.
